This review is from: Women's Waterproof New Englander Rain Jacket from Charles River Apparel (Apparel) This is a super nice quality raincoat, but one thing I noticed about it, was that it made me sweat which resulted in the coat sticking to my arms. It became so uncomfortable, I took the coat off & decided that getting rained on was better. There must not be very good ventilation to prevent this. Too bad because like I said, it is a really nice coat. By Elaine (Hawthorne, New York USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Women's Waterproof New Englander Rain Jacket from Charles River Apparel (Apparel) I, too, find the arms to get a little sticky, especially if it is warm outside, but unlike the other reviewer, the jacket is waterproof, keeps me dry and I would rather keep this jacket on when walking in the rain. No need for an umbrella. The price was right. I did not want to spend the money for Goretex. The jacket is a little roomy but not boxy. I ordered the large. There is room for a sweater if the weather is colder. There is velcro on the sleeves which can be tightened at the wrists. There is a reflective tab around the chest, perfect when I walk the dog at night. I would have given this a 5 if the ventilation was better. |
