Summary: jacket review 2008-09-30
Comment: I bought this jacket to take on a trip to the coast of Oregon and Washington because of the rain, it did not rain the whole trip, but I used it as a windbreaker as there was alot of wind and it was great for that. I could pull it over all my layers of clothes. Nice jacket, I will be able to use for many years as its a style that will always be in season.

Summary: A winner! 2008-09-26
Comment: Now that I have actually used the Anorak in Ireland, in the rain, rain, rain, I can say that it is great. Even in heavy rain, it sheds the moisture, and even the outside drys quickly. The hood works great, it doesn't store heat, but it offers enough to stay warm in cool, damp weather. I ordered medium, and found that, even over a couple of layers, it is still a little large...so be sure to order down. I could stuff it into a small bag and it looked fresh and unwrinkled upon wearing. I recommend this item.

Summary: Functional, warm, packable 2008-07-28
Comment: I needed this jacket for a two-week trip to Australia. I was only bringing one backpack so I needed everything to be as compact as possible. I was not let down - the anorak folded easily into itself and was very compact (about a 5x7 inch pouch, with little thickness). As a windbreaker, it worked well against coastal breezes. I had to layer up to stay warm, but the size of the jacket allowed for that.
I listened to the other reviewers' advice about sizes and bought a small, which was the perfect size - only a little big. Definitely do not overestimate the size.

Summary: good jacket for money 2008-06-18
Comment: be sure to order a larger size than you normally do. Good jacket for golf bag and walking dogs in cool, windy or rainy weather. One side toggle didn't work but the other side does, so was still able to cinch waist. You can pay much more and get better quality, fit and styling, but for a journeyman windbreaker, this is a great deal.

Comment: I thought that I would need one that was very large to fit my shoulders. I ordered it too big. It was nice though.
