As is usually the case when I purchase a clothing item online, I'm skeptical of the item fully matching the description.

In this case, all my qualms were put aside. The jacket arrived swiftly (UPS Ground) and didn't disappoint from the moment I removed it from the soft pak.

The good workmanship is obvious. The zipper easily zipped; the sleeves are comfortable and sufficient for active sports; the poly lining is well constructed and even attractive (with hanging tabs, too); the hood is amply sized and comfortable unlike those on two other windbreakers I own. Two zipped pockets are nearly hidden but roomy.

Mine is the black and silver, very stylish and true to photos AND to sizing--with a bit of room to spare. It is 100 percent nylon with the exception of the lining. I wore it during a light sprinkle and stayed dry.

As a bonus, the block design is slenderizing compared to the often chunky result of solid-color jackets.

I am extremely happy with this picture. I was travelling to Iceland in late March / early April, and I knew I needed a rain jacket to protect me from rainy, windy weather. I'd looked at a lot of other jackets online, but this was the best price for what I needed. I wore it every day I was in Iceland, encountered lots of rain, and it kept me very dry. I love the size of the hood; it was large enough to completely cover my head but not so much that I couldn't see. The quality was very good; it seems comparable to much more expensive jackets. I agree with another review that the color blocking was flattering (I bought the black and white). The only tiny complaint -- the pockets were not wind-proof. I discovered that on the day I forgot gloves!

The jacket seems to run true to size. I bought a large (although I usually buy medium) because I knew I'd be wearing it over a down jacket and fleece. It fit perfectly.

I was extremely impressed with the speed of...Read more

Because I ride a bike everywhere, (don't have a car), I was looking for a reasonably priced rain jacket or coat that was light, waterproof, and "pack-able". After doing a few searches, this popped up. Couldn't believe the price, and after reading the description, figured what did I have to lose, being that it was so inexpensive. After receiving it well-packaged and in a timely manner, I am very happy with the product. I have seen similar rain jackets for sale at upwards of 50 dollars. The sizing seems to be accurate for light layering, (I would have ordered a size up if I knew I'd be wearing a sweater most of the time), and the craftsmanship excellent. The only detail that seems inexplicable is a working zipper at the top of the left sleeve that "goes nowhere". Perhaps it is a "manufacturing defect", and therefore, the company decided to sell this at this cheap price? However, it is completely invisible, and if you didn't know it was there, you may actually have a hard time...Read more
