Rocking a casual boarder vibe with a longer length and plaid attitude, the outer shell is impervious to weather, wipeouts, and the occasional spill. A cute quilted liner provides a pop of color and the warming properties of our new Omni-Heat technology, which uses your own body heat to keep you 20% warmer than ordinary liners. Strategically placed pit zips let you dump excess heat when you need to; other functional features include articulated elbows for mobility and an abrasion-resistant chin guard. Pockets abound including interior security pocket, media and goggle pocket, and zip-closed Inferno pockets on the shell and liner.

I'm so glad I got this! It's the most dressy waterproof jacket I've ever owned. Got the Turquoise one and it's a lovely shade of teal. I've tried several styles of Columbia jackets and found this one to be the best in terms of design, function and overall fit. Puffy jacket has Omni Heat reflective dots on the interior while outer jacket only has them in the hand pockets.

PROS:
+ Chunky zipper that opens and closes with ease. Most Columbia jackets have fine-toothed self-correcting zippers that I've always had trouble zipping close in a hurry.
+ Double zipper pulls you can open it from the base while the top stays closed to adjust your pant or reach into your pant pockets without having to lift the whole jacket up.
+ Roomy hand pockets, great for when wearing thick mitts.
+ Lightweight
+ Completely wind and waterproof
