This is a good product for hiking and fishing. However if you are going to be sitting outside like I was at a concert your rear end is going to get wet.

I bought this product for my wife to use as a snow-pant as a Christmas present. As luck would have it, we had a blizzard the day after Chrisitmas. She was able to play outside with our children and dog. But the best part is she was able to stay dry and warm. I would HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

I found out about these because a groomer in my salon had some. Got some from Dick's and they are awesome for keeping dry when bathing dogs and the cut hair slides off them as well, so no annoying hair splinters on your legs! I need more of these. The only reason I took a star away is because I'm lazy about doing laundry and these have more "special care" instructions like no fabric softener, but makes sense because it will take away some of the waterproof...ness.
